About Constituent Management & Technologies
The Office of Constituent Management & Technologies is responsible for all aspects of University Advancement’s technological systems, including the Advancement database, The Raiser’s Edge®; programming, reporting and data analysis; systems maintenance and upgrades, training, help desk, and other computer and cell phone support services.
Our Purpose
- To support the programmatic needs of University Advancement and our campus partners by providing computer systems services to facilitate communication with alumni, friends, and donors.
Our Strategy
- Employ an integrated service strategy that enables us to respond to our customers’ problems, requests, and questions in a timely and efficient manner.
- To cultivate, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Raiser’s Edge® users in order to have a complete understanding of the needs of our colleagues. Evaluate these needs and how they are being met on an ongoing basis to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Be proactive in anticipating and responding to the changing needs of our customers.
- Continually work to ensure the accuracy and integrity of The Raiser’s Edge® database through regularly scheduled address, phone, and email appends, and by running regularly scheduled error-checking queries and reports.
- Develop procedures, training and operating practices for our systems users and evaluate the level of security needed to safeguard the integrity of the data.
- Proactively research, develop, and employ new technologies that will allow us to provide better service, reduce operating costs, and increase efficiency, while improving our data quality.
